MISSION:
The Making Music Matter Project is a non-profit organization that creates and develops inspirational musical projects that raise funds and awareness for community based organizations while connecting and encouraging musicians to create uplifting music.
MOTIVE:
The Making Music Matter Project believes inspirational music is a powerful gift that can have a dramatic and positive impact on everyone it touches. Through our musical programs, we work to bring together musicians and members of the music industry, creating opportunities for them to bring more positive music into the music industry and the world.
MUSIC FOR MIRACLES:
Our current project is the benefit CD "Music For Miracles" which is raising funds and awareness for the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN), a non-profit organization dedicated to helping kids by raising funds for 170 children's hospitals across North America. Children's Miracle Network hospitals help 17 million kids each year - kids with cancer, birth defects and pediatric AIDS...organ transplant patients and accident victims...and children living with chronic illnesses such as diabetes, cystic fibrosis, kidney disease and heart disease. "Music For Miracles" features 16 inspirational songs including the singles "Miracles" by leukemia survivor Kimberly Thach & "Half A World Away" by Bob Frier of WKMG Local 6.
